PERMIT FAQ’S:
What happens when…
- Your permit is lost or stolen – To obtain a new permit you must visit the parking office and report the incident. You will receive a temporary permit for 2 weeks, then you must come back in for your permanent permit.
- Transferring permits – Handled by the University Police. May be arrested under a misdemeanor charge of receiving and transferring stolen property. Court costs are $165.50, not including fines.
- Forged or Altered parking permits – Handled by the University police. Will be arrested on a misdemeanor charge of altering a permit. Court costs are $165.50, not including fines.
- Failure to display valid permit – Ticket will be issued at the cost of $10.00.
- Failure to make payment of citation – Student will be placed on academic hold which will result in students not being able to receive grade reports, register for classes, receive a diploma, or receive transcripts.
- Failure to display permit properly – Will result in a fine of $10.00, this may be excused by coming into the parking office with your valid permit and ticket. If this happens repeatedly the Parking Office will not excuse your ticket.
