PERMIT GUIDELINES:

1. WVU EMPLOYEE PARKING PERMITS:
Area 90
(1). Eligible: President and Vice Presidents
Executive Officer
Associate Vice Presidents
Assistant Vice Presidents

(2). Area of Use: All WVU Paid Parking Areas

NOTE: Home Base Area will be designated at the left front of Decal. It is suggested that the home base be used, but not mandatory.

Area 94
(1). Eligible: Deans, Directors, Assoc Directors, Asst Directors
Mangers, Individuals required to travel to other campuses
Pre-approval from Director of Transportation and Parking

(2). Area of Use: Downtown – Area 1, 6, 7, 9, 11 only
Evansdale – All WVU Paid Parking Areas
Medical Center – Area 80

NOTE: Home Base Area will be designated at the left front of Decal.

Area 92
(1). Eligible: Departments only, must have contact person
(2). Area of Use: Downtown – Areas 1, 5, 7 and 11 only.
Evansdale – All WVU Paid Parking Areas.
Medical Center – Area 80.

(a).These permits may not be assigned to full time employees for their personal use.

(b).Permits are to be use by visitors coming to the department to do university business only.

Area 95
(1). Eligible: Planning, Design, and Construction employees who are actively involved in capital projects. A letter from Director of Facilities Management is required

(2). Area of Use: Any Area 72, Marked Physical Plant spaces, Construction Areas, or closest lot next to the construction Area on Downtown, Evansdale and Health Science Center campuses.

Area 98
(1). Eligible: Vendors upon approval by Parking Management.

(2). Area of Use: Downtown Areas 1, 6, 7 & 11 only Evansdale: All WVU Paid Parking Areas Medical Center Area 80

Area 75 Reserved Disability Parking
(1). Eligible:Employees with State issued and valid Disability Parking permits assigned to the specific space

(2). Area of Use: Reserved Disability Parking Space assigned to the specific Area 75 Permit Holder. Other General Disability parking spaces throughout campus but subject to limitations noted on parking space signage. Not eligible for other Area 75 parking spaces.

2. GENERAL WVU EMPLOYEE PARKING PERMITS:

Employee Parking Permit Located on Downtown Campus
(1) Eligible: WVU employees who have an assigned Downtown permit

(2) Area of Use:
i. Downtown – Assigned area
ii. For temporary business only and not for parking use on a regular basis: Evansdale- Areas 42, 45, 46, 50, 52, 54

Employee parking permits located on Evansdale Campus
(1)Eligible: WVU employees who have an assigned Evansdale Permit

(2)Area of Use: Evansdale Assigned area & Areas 42, 45, 46, 50, 52, 54 ii. For temporary business only and not for parking use on a regular basis: Downtown Areas 5,7

Employee parking permits located at Health Sciences Center
Area 80
(1) Eligible: WVU employees who have an assigned Area 80 permit

(2) Area of Use: HSC Assigned area, For temporary business only and not for parking use on a regular basis:Downtown Areas 5,7 Evansdale Areas 42, 45, 46, 50, 52, 54

One Waterfront Place Garage
(1). Eligible: Employees that work in One Waterfront Place

(2). Area of Use: Waterfront Place Garage, For temporary business only and not for parking use on a regular basis, Downtown Areas 5 and 7 Evansdale Areas 42, 45, 46, 50, 52, 54
